//This years Artist Alley will be taking place on Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 from 11 am to 5 pm In the Lookout! Gallery located on the 2nd floor of Michigan State University’s Residential College of Arts and Humanities in East Lansing MI. There is no cost to request table space for the MSU Comics Forum.
To request table space just click download this form, complete the requested information, and click submit. If problems occur when submitting, save the PDF and e-mail it as an attachment to jay@comicsobscura.com. Applications need to be submitted by Friday, December 10, 2010.
Due to limited space the Artist Alley is going to be juried and not all requests will be met. Once the application is received it will be reviewed and you will be notified via e-mail by Friday, December 17th, 2010 as to whether or not we are able to meet your request.
//We’re happy to announce that planning for the 2011 MSU Comics Forum is well under way. This year we welcome Nate Powell (Swallow Me Whole; Eisner Award winner for Best Graphic Novel, LA Times Book Prize Finalist, and Ignatz Award winner) as our keynote speaker. This year, the keynote address wil be delivered in the RCAH Theatre in the basement of Snyder/Philips Hall (same as last year) on Friday, Jan. 21st, 2011. The following day (Saturday, Jan. 22nd, 2011) will feature our Artist Alley and Panel Discussions from 11am-5pm in and around the RCAH LookOut Gallery on the second floor of Snyder/Philips Hall (also, conveniently, the same location as last year). We?ll be announcing more details shortly, so please watch the site for upcoming announcements!
